Review on Arus Turkish Bathrobe XX Large Burgundy by Chris Nastanovich

Wonderful robe in my review

I'll start with how well the robe fits. I am 5ft 9 inches, 175 pounds, 36 inches waist, 44 inches chest and I have a large size. There's a lot of room on this thing. More than enough to spare my body with space. The sleeves go down far enough to almost completely enclose my arm when I'm standing upright. The cuff can be rolled up but is double thick. Cuffs approx. 10.2 cm long are sewn on at the top and bottom. The length is just above the ankle. I would advise being careful if you have a ladder as the robe is more than long enough to step on when climbing stairs. The hood is quite large and can easily cover the eyes. This is not a patterned hood like a raincoat. In fact, this is a semi-circle of extra fabric, so when folded it lays flat on the back. As for the quality, I have no complaints in this regard. I've had the bathrobe for about 2 weeks and mostly wear it every day. All seams are made qualitatively and without any noticeable defects. There are 3 loops, 2 for a belt and 1 for hanging a robe, and they seem secure as well. The material is soft plush terry cotton, quite warm. The material easily absorbs water. I have mine in black and washed them once when I first received them. Can't comment on how fast the paint dries as it was washed separately, but I've had no issues with it shrinking after drying. I should note that I didn't use heat, just air dried and I had to run a few cycles to get the robe dry. This bathrobe is already heavy when dry, so it can weigh significantly more after washing. In general I am very happy with them. I got it as a gift but I would easily buy it for myself or as a gift for someone else. If I run into any quality issues over time I'll come back with an update. At the moment I think this bathrobe will serve me well for a number of years.
