Review on πŸ”’ Organize and Secure with KURUI Anchors: Assorted Galvanized Organizer by Louis Asok

Revainrating 1 out of 5

The product is fine. The documentation is wrong and Revain's description is misleading.

The plastic dowels appear to be of decent quality. The screws are also of inferior quality, my screwdriver fits snugly on the head - which is often not the case with inferior wall plugs. There are two issues that make this product complete. waste of time and money. They don't tell you what size drill bit to use for each specific anchor size on the packaging. Bit that is slightly LARGER than the size of the anchor. THAT DOES NOT WORK! Using a drill LARGER than the anchor will end up making a hole in the wall LARGER than the anchor and the plastic anchor will just rotate when you try to tighten the screw. You will need to use a drill that is slightly SMALLER than the dowel to ensure the dowel fits snugly in the hole. But even that isn't the best advice. Because I pulled out my digital calipers and measured the size of the anchors and got a drill bit one size smaller than the average diameter of the anchor I measured and the hole I made was still too big . You must ignore the notices in the product description and the answers to questions. All the other anchors I've used in my life - and I've used a lot of these plastic anchors - they tell you exactly what size drill to use and it works correctly every time. But the last sin committed by this product/seller. Note that the box in my photos says "#8x2-2/5" 6PC Yellow "Notice there are only three yellow anchors in this size? pieces" as dowels and screws. Anchors don't work without screws and screws don't work without anchors. So if you're expecting to be able to hang 4 items, or if you want to hang a single item that requires 4 anchors of that size, you've got yourself deceived and everyone does when it says you get 80 e gray size - no you get 40 dowels and 40 screws this is very misleading every other anchor I've ever bought lists the size of the drill used and counts anchor + screw as one "piece". For these reasons they are misleading junk. No matter how good the anchors are, no matter how good the screws are, no matter how good the plastic box they come in is, whether you using the wrong size drill bit and drilling too big a hole in your wall or whether you buy if you think it's enough to complete the project and you find that there are half as many anchors as intended then it's M ll. get it wrong based on their advice. Using the wrong size drill will make correct installation impossible. Durability is debatable if the hole in your wall is too big. Garbage. DO NOT BUY.
