Review on Renewed Logitech MX Master 🐭 3 Advanced Wireless Mouse: Exceptional Performance Guaranteed by Kio Park ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

It functions perfectly, nothing unusual.

The Flow feature was the deciding factor in purchasing this mouse for use with Windows and Mac (switching between computers by moving the mouse pointer from one monitor to another). I have no issues with the ergonomics, as there are no backlashes or uneven spaces. The mouse I have is properly put together; I have no concerns, and the materials are comfortable to the touch. The mouse pairs wirelessly with a Mac through Bluetooth, and with a Windows PC through either Unifying or USB. The link is solid and uninterrupted in both circumstances. Overall, I'm pleased and would rate the mouse as a 5. Yet the Mac version of the app has several serious functional issues. The user interface is fine, so you can go ahead and access the options and make a few adjustments. However, the Flow feature stops functioning when the scroll direction changes. Sadly, this issue has persisted for quite some time (scrolling was the same with my previous MX Anywhere 2 mouse). After restarting your computer, the new scrolling direction you specified in Logitech Settings won't take effect on your mouse. Because of the mouse's size, it's inconvenient to utilize the button to transition between computers. I don't know why Logitech can't get the driver to run on Mac. It seems that the faulty Logitech mouse driver is the sole cause of my needing to restart the Computer. While using Flow on two PCs at once, it can be inconvenient to have a third monitor. It would be convenient if the MX Keys keyboard had buttons that could be used to swap the mouse and keyboard across computers instead of merely shifting the mouse pointer. The mouse continues to operate on the original device while the keyboard transitions.

Pros
  • The mouse is well designed, has a pleasing feel to the touch, and uses high-quality materials that support the Flow feature and USB Type-C.
Cons
  • Problematic software; inconvenient location of the gesture button.
