Don't be fooled by low ratings or reviews; I bought this on a whim for my wife's original surface book and it does NOT disappoint! Connects great, charges like a BEAST (I have the dedicated GPU version so it has 2 separate batteries [one in the screen and one in the base] and charges fast and efficiently!) I think the cable is even longer than that standard charger. . It's so good that I'm jealous of both the loading speed and length of my Surface Pro 6 (I want to buy 2 more for myself for example!). In short, got it! I think I've had this charger for almost a year now and it works flawlessly!
