Review on TSLA Lightweight Athletic Barefoot Minimalist Men's Shoes for Athletic by Jay Hill

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Convenience and price, but with a small sacrifice?

TSLA is a decent shoe for less than the Merrell Vapor Glove; However, I'm not sure if it will be that long-lasting. The size is smaller than the standard size, at least half the size. The upper feels a bit cheap and may lack the durability that a true trail running shoe might need. The eyelets for the laces are too big and the laces are big compared to Merrell. Overall, they're comfortable and inexpensive, but I just don't think they'll hold up well. I only use them for everyday use at the moment. As with minimalist shoes, there's no built-in support here. The toe box fits a wider foot, but I wouldn't recommend it for people wider than E, or people with bursitis or other circumstances where you have a very wide forefoot.

Pros
  • Helps increase foot and ankle flexibility
Cons
  • Size may not match.
