Over the course of several years, I have gone through three separate m705 models of mice. The first mouse receives a score of 5 stars from me, with a minus for its noisy scrolling, followed by a score of 4 and then a score of 3. I had to return two mice because they were defective, and when I did so, both of them began to produce a double click instead of a single click, and the scrolling on the second mouse began to quiver up and down. When I took use of the mouse's warranty for the first time, which was two years after the initial purchase, the retailer simply replaced it with a new one without even connecting the old one to do a quality check. As I got everything unpacked at my house, I noticed it right away (and I could feel it with my hands): the plastic material had gotten worse, and just one side was rubberized. After the second time that the parts were replaced, I noticed that the spaces between the components grew larger, the quality of the material deteriorated further, the paint peeled off and eventually disappeared after a year, and the rubber coating was in even worse shape than it was when it was first applied. The difference is really clear, particularly considering that the mice were switched out right away; for example, I used the old one in the morning, but by the time dinner was through, I had already switched to the new one, so there was no time for the mice to adjust or wean off of the previous one. In general, if I were to return that very first mouse, I believe that I would become confused with the process of repairing the button mikrik. I don't know how many other mouse I've used, but this one seems to be the only one that works.
