Review on Acacia Wood End Grain Cheese Board By Ironwood Gourmet - Calistoga Series by Charles Mistretta

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Beautiful, but thin.

This board is 1/4" thick. It must be babied, no sitting in water. I've had mine for a few months now, oiled with with laxative grade mineral oil from the grocery store, and it still looks lovely. Mine shipped with a small chip between the handle and the edge, but hasn't continued splitting further. Looking forward to slicing and serving lightweight produce and dry appetizers on this in the upcoming years (hopefully)

Pros
  • Cookware
Cons
  • The edges of the cheese board may splinter, causing potential harm when handling
