Review on Satechi Aluminum Multi-Port Adapter 4K HDMI, USB-C Pass Through, Gigabit Ethernet, SD/Micro Card Readers, and USB 3.0 for 2020 MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, and iPad Pro (Space Gray) by Kio Lee ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I am delighted, the product is really worthy.

Made qualitatively, candovo. Never Chinese. The connector connects securely to the Mac. The color is slightly different from the poppy.

Pros
  • Works stably, smartly. Contains many useful ports for connecting to thunder bolt, supports pass-through connection for MAC charging. Ethernet works great. Very happy with this purchase.
Cons
  • Not a particularly important factor for me, but yes, it heats up like an iron.

Been using this for about a year at work. There were no problems and never have been. Now I have bought a home.

Its pros: Lots of ports: everything you need is there. Solid performance - nothing creaks, no backlash, looks decent. The color (silver) matches the MacBook. With its cons. Warming up. But, by the way, not as much as it was written in the reviews. In general, almost all hubs are heated

Its pros: Many necessary and modern ports in one package. Cute. Has some cons Heats up even if just connected and not in use. Inexplicably. Moreover, colleagues have two other versions from Satechi and they also get warm. It's annoying.

Has pros: Compact. Plugged everything in and it works :) Has some cons Some models have a detachable cord, I would like this one as well. The built-in lace is a little short, which is sometimes not very convenient for placing on the table.
