Review on TEFLON Coated Travel Umbrella with Windproof Technology by Cara Ruiz

NOT WINDPROOF! for luggage and baggage

"Windproof" my pretty ass**! I recently bought a pair of these and just this morning my stepson brought one to school. It's a windy and rainy day, but nowhere near windy enough to turn it inside out within minutes of first use. Now my stepson has to sit all day, wet and cold. I will ask for a refund for both umbrellas. EDIT: Just to add that my stepson just got home and showed me the umbrella. One of the arms is literally broken. None of the hands slipped or the joint wasn't bent wrong, the arm was broken. It's windy today too, but not THAT windy. We live in Seattle, away from hurricanes, tornadoes or tsunamis. Wind gusts are currently estimated at around 40 km/h, but a "windproof" umbrella should be able to withstand today's winds outside. I absolutely cannot recommend this umbrella.

Pros
  • Pretty impressive
Cons
  • Style 90
