Review on πŸ“Έ Pentax AF 360 FGZ Flash: The Ideal Accessory for Pentax and Samsung Digital SLR Cameras (with Included Case) by Ryan Talcott

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Pleasant flash for most

This is a very pleasant flash. Works as it should with a large number of settings available, multiple power settings in manual mode. You can set Manual TTL (P-TTL) or Auto, first curtain-back curtain hyperflash. It can be used with newer Pentax DSLRs or older film models. Or even single column cameras from old Spotmatics or other branded equivalents. If there are problems with other contacts, they can be closed with some adhesive tape. It offers a built-in diffuser and a built-in white reflection card. Use one or both. It has remote capabilities (I don't have it). The only real downside is no fuss. There is a jump but no turn. This is a disadvantage for some creative shots, but not really a disadvantage for the average shooter. With a cable or remote control, this problem disappears. The operation is quite simple and the luminous dial is a big plus. In general I am very happy with them. I also use Sigma 500 dg st and love it too. It has a twist, but a little in the realm of manual control. I've read complaints about the quality, but I've seen the competition and feel they're as good as anyone and better than most. Also, I have a Pentax, and it says Pentax, so I'm fashionable. Dan
