Great for Auditory Sensory Issues/Not Great for Tactile Sensory Issues

As an adult with autism, I bought these to help deal with my sensory issues with sound. For the positives, if you are sensitive to sound, these headphones work wonders. The noise cancellation is really good. It dulls loud noises and significantly removes quiet ones. You can still hear talking, but it’s much quieter and easy on the ears.As for the negatives, unfortunately, they don’t have a lot of nice looking ones for adults, so I put some stickers on mine. (I recommend Etsy for cute sticker sheets!)Additionally, if you are sensitive to touch, these headphones are definitely uncomfortable at first. I think I have an average sized female head, and these are tight when I put them on. However, over time they get slightly less tight, plus wearing them over a hat (strangely enough) helps the pressure significantly.Overall, I would recommend this to my sensory sensitive friends, with caution. The noise cancellation is amazing, but the comfort is lacking a little. If you’re not sure, I’d say give them a try for a little bit and if they don’t work, you can return them. Thanks for reading, have a great day, friends! 🌼
