Review on Garmin Forerunner 45: Easy-to-Use GPS Running Watch with Free Training Plan Support in Red by Hiral Gupta ᠌

I am satisfied with everything, the product corresponds to the description.

I took this watch as a running tracker from the "economy" segment and, at first glance, the bracelet met all the requirements. But from the first training, something strange began. During seemingly easy runs for medium distances (5-10 km), the pulse consistently exceeded 180 and stayed that way for an hour, which looks rather strange, especially in light of the fact that during the entire workout I could calmly carry on a dialogue, that is, he kept the so-called conversational pace, which does not fit with such a large pulse. It seems that in the jogging mode for some reason there is an overestimation of the pulse. Another problem arose with gps. There is no point in talking about the occasional stupidity on the track, when you can somehow get an extra lap, because this is the scourge of most of these trekkers. The problem here is that, sometimes, the same route with the same starting point (+- 10m error) can differ by almost half a kilometer, and the reason for this is absolutely not clear. The bracelet just felt like it. Well, a couple more personal cons. Firstly, when training for more than an hour and wearing the bracelet for 24 hours, you need to charge it every two days. Yes, thanks to the charging speed, this can be done at those moments when there is no particular need for a watch (a conditional trip to the shower), but it’s still unpleasant. And also on the bracelet there is a built-in memory, where workouts are also clogged. Also, it's enough just to randomly take a screenshot (yes, there is such a function here too), which can fill the memory so that you will be the last to know about it. And as a result, when going for a run, the problem may simply arise that the watch simply refuses to start it until the memory is cleared. And all the cleansing from the watch itself comes down to deleting previous runs, and in a crowd, which is also such a thing. With the exception of the previous disadvantages, the watch solidly performs the function of a simple fitness tracker. It is also quite light, which is a definite plus for wearing 24/7. Well, you won’t miss any notifications with him - the vibration is strong

Pros
  • Wear comfort Suitable for long workouts Works well as a hub for notifications Charging speed
Cons
  • GPS accuracy Overall battery capacity How the heart rate sensor works when the heart rate is high Difficult to control the amount of memory
