Good product and good price.

I was skeptical because of the low cost compared to Toyota (and other manufacturers). I am using a 2013 Toyota 4Runner. They were pretty easy to install and worked great. Sometimes you buy something and can't believe the deal compared to other options. This was one of those cases. There is a video on Youtube showing how to uninstall and install them. In this video you need to remove the top support and loosen the bottom screw. The video shows using a flashlight to help with the bottom screw. It is not necessary. Simply remove the top support bracket and unscrew the lift support from the bottom bolt. To install, simply slide the jack over the screw you did not remove and press down on the top bracket. Then use the tool to push on the sunroof until one of the top two bolts can be inserted and tightened. This requires two people and be careful not to push the hatch too hard. Just enough to turn the screw. The first lift assistance lasted less than two minutes. The second took about 10 minutes because although I thought it was the first, I fiddled around tightening the screw a bit. In addition, supports can go from both sides. No support LEFT or RIGHT. Also, use something (or someone) to hold the hatch open. Thing is heavy and will collapse without a jack.
