This transport box is not for big cats. My 20kg boy Abraham barely fits in so I'm not very comfortable leaving him cramped there for more than 30 minutes. We'll be leaving him in the general area for a few weeks before attempting to take him to the vet because he HATES carriers, but so far so good! He didn't hate it, but he still didn't like it at first. Space is very small (or is my cat just huge?) but since he likes to curl up, that's not a problem or a deal breaker. First overall impression: The carrier feels solid and well designed for being so light and foldable, but we haven't tried lifting it in yet. I love that the cushion cover is washable by unzipping and removing the contents. I would recommend this to those with an average 10 pound cat but definitely not for a larger one. Update 2/19/21: I still think this carrier is too small for big cats. My cat loves it as a bed but can't get up and roll over in it when we use it as a stretcher. He will come in and sleep in it and it is comfortable for him to carry the stretcher as a concept but it is too small for him.
