Review on Large SturdiBag: Flexible Pet Carrier for 2 Pets with Divided Compartments by Jackie Barker

Flying SW with two small dogs in Sturdibag XL

I ordered this bag for an unplanned and sudden trip across the country. I ordered a large size but received an XL size instead. I didn't have time to return it before an early flight the next morning with my two small (10-12lb) dogs, so I took it to the airport anyway, even though it was over the size of the carrier. Upon checking in at the airport they were really skeptical about the size but I told them it just looks a lot bigger than it really is and showed them how flexible it was and told them that others I knew were using Exactly same bag flown so it fits under the seat. They let me in and it fit under the seat in front of me. It stuck out a few inches, but the flight attendants said nothing. Both dogs were able to lie down in the transport box and made no noise during the entire 5 flight hours. I flew both ways on a Southwest flight (the only airline I've found that allows two small dogs in a pet carrier) so I'm not sure what other airlines will say, but I will Have confidence when I try to use it in the future. although the dimensions exceed those declared by all airlines. It's also very well done. One of my dogs will dig and try to scrape itself out within the first few minutes of being placed in the carrier. She destroyed other aircraft carriers on one trip, but left no traces on this one. He also felt safe when carrying it. I was concerned that the roundness on my hip would be uncomfortable, but it really wasn't, and the vents on either side allowed both dogs to lie down and get a full view of the outside of the carrier.
