I bought this carrier because I needed it in a hurry and didn't have time to order another one and return this one. It arrived at a very good time and the price was great but .- The carrier crashes. The first thing I didn't like about this stretcher is that it doesn't stand open but folds up. The straps are removed before the cats have to go to the vet for a check-up, and the cats are bored and not afraid of them. This stretcher doesn't stay open like my other one which has hoops around the side entrances that keep the entire tube open. - The cat ran away. On the day of the vet visit, each cat was placed in a carrier and placed in the car. I was going to lock the front door and in that tiny amount of time the cat in that van unzipped and fled. Closing all the zippers in the corner helped, but it's best to use the zip ties inserted into each zipper. It works, but it's very inconvenient, time consuming, and not very fun as long as the cat is howling and trying to put its paw through the zipper and run away. dealing with cats - there is practicality and usefulness.
