Review on 58-in-1 MEKBOK Precision Screwdriver Set by Chris Horton

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Strong magnetic bits. The only drawback is the cheap plastic case insert. Still a great set.

I really like this screwdriver set so far. I have two more sets like this (I uploaded a photo of them) and this set has definitely become my new favorite. I just used the kit to open and fix my neighbor's HP laptop and everything went smoothly. The beats seem solid. I didn't have any screws or bit strips when I repaired it, which is very important to me with sets like this. My favorite part of the set is how perfectly the bits magnetize. I used to magnetize and demagnetize my bits as needed, but now I don't have to worry about it anymore. Of course there are times when you don't want it to be magnetized, but I won't go into detail. A few nice touches: The handle has a built-in multi-knurled extension so you can dial in the perfect length. With my sets of 24-36 items, I didn't have much luxury. With this set I have everything. They really have thought of every little thing you could ever need. The ONLY scam I could think of is how the bits are stored inside the case. Everything is in a cheap plastic form and the bits are in separate rubber silicone cases. This requires two hands to remove and replace a bit (compared to my old kits which can be done with one hand). If the plastic insert in the case was more durable and non-removable I would be happier. Due to the cheap plastic in the case I would deduct half a star and give this a 4.5 star but I think it would be unfair to give this product 4 stars because it really is fantastic. So I'm rounding up my 4.5 to 5 stars.
