The perfect purchase for me, exactly what I was looking for!

What we have when connected to an external DAC: I was slightly pleasantly surprised, but the older model, as it seemed to me, gives out fatter basses, more booming, but again, personally, it’s not that there aren’t enough of them, there’s not enough powerful enveloping surround immersion in bass under my feet, this because of the memories of emotions from the subwoofer + headphones showed what the quality of the bottoms can be. Further . it seems that the mids and highs were slightly cut. But the treble and midrange are soft, they don’t cut your hearing, if you wish, you can add an equalizer, they won’t lose quality. For example, I added treble to +2 on the speakers and sometimes adjust the bass depending on what I'm listening to. In detail, everything is fine, they play cleanly, they sound more interesting at 30% - 40% volume. I connected directly to the laptop and compared the sound from xDuoo: the difference is obvious. In general, the speakers are good for their price. I took it for 9k. For the inexperienced listener, what they can will suffice. I do not want to sow the seed of doubt when choosing. You will be happy with your choice. For their size, they cope with all tasks, especially in games and movies. And another nuance: the location of the acoustics relative to the listener affects the perception. And I'm a slightly demanding listener. I definitely need high-quality, deep bass. It can give a sub. I'll buy it later and share my experience. And YES, I recommend the columns, they are really not bad. And one more thing, the bluetooth signal is received well, the sound does not spoil. It is very convenient, now my speakers are playing from bluetooth, and my ears are connected to the DAC.

Pros
  • advantages: - clear, detailed sound - transparent highs and mids - no background when idle - Bluetooth v5.0, optical, coaxial, two RCA inputs, subwoofer output - classic, stylish look A very interesting story turned out with the acquisition of this system. Once I had a system 2.1 sven sps-820. She lived for 15 years. For a room of 15 sq. the volume reserve was enough. I don’t remember what it was with medium and high frequencies, but the bottoms were worthy. Then they got to the little brother, where they lived out their days. I didn’t need desktop speakers anymore, so I bought Beyerdynamic DT 770 pro 80 ohm headphones and xDuoo 05 DAC / UX, where I installed Muse 02. This bundle gives a great sound. Satisfied with 100%. I especially like BASS. But I wanted to buy speakers, sometimes you get tired of headphones. And the requirement for sound after the Baers is correspondingly high.
Cons
  • About the disadvantages: - there is nothing to complain about, just low frequencies at low volume. And now I'm sitting choosing. what to take. a budget of up to 10k. searching for options, reading reviews. flour of choice. The look fell on the 2.0 Edifier R1280T. Yes! exactly this model! Why? Because I did not know that there is the same model, but with access to the subwoofer. Appearance, MDF, wood color, good reviews bribed, although I understood that the lower classes might not be enough. I take it, brought it home, plugged it in, turned on the music. first impressions: not bad, there are averages, highs are in place. hmm. but something is missing, yes, bottoms. As expected, chic basses no, I didn’t want something bigger, but deeper, more detailed, more collected. Sub could solve my problem. But the R1280T model does not provide for a subwoofer connection. For the sake of justice, it is worth noting that this model produces quite high-quality sound with a not bad bottom, by the way, they are revealed at a volume of 30% - 40%. In general, I decided to return. Buying R1280DBs.

Has some pros I really like the sound, both bass and high. From TV to optics. Cons below: It's strange, but death metal does not sound very good from the phone via bluetooth, I sin on a budget phone.

With its pros. Well assembled, a lot of inputs for all possible connectors + Bluetooth. Cables included. Medium and high frequencies give a good panorama. Its cons: The bottoms are booming. This makes it unpleasant to listen to.
