Review on Computer chair ThunderX3 TC3 gaming chair, upholstery: imitation leather, color: Ember Red by Aneta Janek ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great value for money, one of the best offers.

In essence, I chose the chair because of its brand and cost. Even said, ThunderX3 is not a no-name; both the brand and this specific model have received positive evaluations. I considered purchasing the TC5 model, but after seeing that it only had 4 adjustments on the backrest online, I decided against it because I like to fiddle with the settings to make my own furniture as comfortable as possible. I wasn't let down by the TC3 model in this regard because it was a good fit for me. I enjoyed the distinctive click while turning the armrests because it let me know that they were in their intended location and not trapped in the middle. If you are fortunate enough to get all of the bolts into the thread the first time, the assembly is incredibly easy and poses no challenges at all. Only 10 bolts—4 under the saddle, 4 on the back, and 2 on the protective plastic components on either side of the back—need to be tightened manually; they are all hexagon-spinning. The other half of the components only require simple insertion; no twisting is required. By the way, a fastex (trident) secures both pillows. The hexagon included in the kit is the most typical and least expensive, without any bells and whistles, and thus not very convenient - but it is more than enough to assemble the chair once and not touch it again. In general, I observed a minor detail during assembly: it is preferable to tighten the upper bolts first, on both sides, without fully engaging the thread. Then, if necessary, adjust the backrest and tighten the lower bolts, before evenly tightening from all sides. It may not be possible to fit a bolt into the thread because it may be slightly off-center inside and not line up with the hole in the synthetic leather. One of each type of spare bolt is also included in the set. There are no extra washers provided. after 7 months of use: The chair is generally not awful; I purchased it for 12 kopecks, and for that amount of money, it may be considered to be standard. Now that it is substantially more expensive than I had anticipated, is it still worthwhile? The skin splits, and the gas lift sways. Undoubtedly, I was wed with a gas lift.

Pros
  • Cool design and practicality - Simple assembly (takes an hour to put together) - Detailed assembly instructions in a number of languages The back can be adjusted to your preference. High-quality materials are used.
Cons
  • - There are just three places for the armrests to rotate in: straight and roughly 45 degrees in both directions; additionally, they play a bit (they spin on their own, but generally speaking, it is not important). - The armrests' little range of motion while being raised - The difficulty sometimes returning adjustment levers to their initial positions (as if something is impeding them). - The wheels spin unevenly - When assembling, it sometimes seems to get caught in the thread on the rear, but as you get the feel of it, everything comes together. After 7 months of use, I add: - The gas lift loosened, causing the seat to sway; this issue can only be resolved by replacing the gas lift - The skin on the front portion of the seat cracked, necessitating the use of liquid leather (at least purely for aesthetic purposes). - Although not particularly attractive, it works
