Review on Gregory Mountain Products Baltoro Backpack Backpacks by Cheryl Brown

This pack is amazing! for hiking backpacks

I recently used my new Baltoro 65 on a two day backpacking trip up narrow rocky trails. There's probably not enough space here to mention all the really great things about this set. Countless little features that can take days to learn. Plenty of zip openings on all levels of the backpack so you can go anywhere and grab everything you need without having to take things out. With different straps and load adjustments, you can adjust the load distribution and adapt perfectly to your body. A perfect fit with a flexible frame, waistband and straps that literally move and become one with your body. Small inner daypack. Waterproof side pocket for mobile phones. Includes rain cover. mesh pockets. Water bottle holder. Strong hanging loop. Various gear loops are strategically placed around the bag. Secure ground mount for sleeping mat, tent or bag. The small well thought out details go on and on. The only downsides: 1) It can be a bit heavier than other 65L backpacks. This is likely due to the heavier ballistic nylon used in construction. 2) Lifting and loading on the back can be a problem with this backpack. 3) The lid of the compartment is loosely divided. It's good in a way, but bad when you have to put a little more into it. 4) It would be nice to have a transparent pocket to put maps/documents/solar panels on it. 5) Top drawstring and girth are counterintuitive. Overall, I highly recommend this package. Nice choice!
