Review on Hankook Tire Dynapro HP2 RA33 265/65 R17 112H summer by Mateusz Banasiuk ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

In general, it's pretty good, an equal number of pros and cons.

235/65 17. Braking in the rain (immediately after the rain) must be done very carefully. Or rather, do not accelerate very much, so as not to catch up with those whose rubber normally clings to the road. On dry pavement, it brakes normally. In order to achieve the same soft ride as on winter tires, as well as in order to spare the suspension, I had to relieve the pressure to the minimum allowed for my car. Those. fuel economy through reduced rolling resistance is forgotten. At maximum pressure (on the car sticker it says 2.7 for economy mode) gear grinder.

Pros
  • Quiet. Aquaplaning at its best. After 2 seasons, I can say that the wear resistance is also not bad. Cheap (in comparison).
Cons
  • Hydroplaning works out as it should, but another discipline related to water let us down - grip on wet asphalt is not very good. After a couple of years of use, my observations were confirmed by ADAC tests - 10-11th place just because of poor grip on wet pavement. If not for this, the place in the ranking would be much higher (maybe even up to 3rd, or even 2nd place). Oak compared to winter.
