The lamps themselves are great - very bright and extremely uniform over a very wide area. I mounted them on the rollover bar on a lawnmower (sometimes I need to finish mowing as it gets dark). The wiring kit was a disappointment. The picture showed a cable mounted switch, but it came with a panel mounted switch so I had to drill a hole and mount it very differently than I had planned. And the spade-type wiring connectors on different portions of the wiring harness didn't match on one of the lights; apparently they ran out of male spade connectors and so used a female connector instead, making it impossible to assemble 2 female connectors together, so I had to fix that. Something else I had to do in the lawnmower situation was to greatly shorten the wires so I didn't have large coils of excess wire hanging on the rollbar. The kit was designed for a car or ATV, so that was understandable, but did require a lot of wire cutting and replacement of crimp style connectors. So it was very much not plug and play, but the end result is awesome, the lights are fantastic and very low power and very rugged. So you need to be pretty good at automotive wiring and have the proper tools and connectors to really be successful.
