Review on πŸ”§ Effortlessly Maneuver Heavy Loads with the Sunex 1500-Pound Wheel Dolly by Jennifer Davis

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Well built, strong, easy ratchet, good value for money

I would highly recommend these lifts. They appear to be well made, with heavy gauge steel and casters. Two rollers are blocked, which is very convenient. The rollers that come into contact with the wheel are made of honeycomb aluminum with plastic bushings inside, riding on a smooth, round steel arm. They come fully lubricated and require four bolts/nuts to assemble. I had trouble fitting the pulleys to a couple of them because the pulley wanted to turn while I turned the locknut. The square roller carriage was rounded enough that it slid into the square hole and I had to use channel locks to hold it in place. Out of 8 casters what happened to 2. However, once fully tightened, they do not move. The wheel roller arms feel very sturdy and have a tapered hex end and a matching socket that they fit in so I know they won't turn on me. Overall I'm very satisfied, especially after assembling and trying a lower quality trolley which I quickly disassembled and sent back. The HF trolley uses plastic tubing as rollers with no internal structure tires that rest on flat steel arms so they only have two points of contact with the arms and cannot easily rotate once weight is applied to them. The wheels are smaller, the weight is lighter and the maximum tire width is 3 inches smaller. There is no comparison.
