Finally I can pack my handy multi-display home office in my backpack to travel anywhere. Turns my laptops, Surfacebook 3 and Macbook Pro 16" into multi-application workstations. A USB-C port for power and graphics eliminates cable clutter. The inclusion of two USB-C cables as well as a USB-C to dual USB-A cable to provide additional power for the display is very important, although the cable length seems excessive at almost 3ft. enough to accommodate a 1" USB-C cable. The massive weight of the device, which is the one equivalent to other laptops doesn't matter because once the device is secured and placed on the stand your laptop becomes a desktop computer we won't be going anywhere any time soon unfortunately on my surface book all the apps that used to be on the extended displays reverts to the main display of the laptop when the display goes to sleep, requiring the apps to be moved back to where I previously placed them Surfaceism or Fah re. Luckily, my Macbook Pro doesn't require this replacement. Any device that requires a manufacturer's driver always makes me a little nervous about future support, and I'm not sure why a proprietary driver is required when every other external display seems to connect. n-play, but the immediate improvement in workflow makes the risk worth it.
