Review on Reversible Cat Scratcher Cardboard Lounge Bowl Pad - Pawise Kitty Scratching Relaxing Pad by Victor Kakaruk

For the price I expected a better quality scratcher. I've bought scratchers for under $8 that lasted years before they were torn to the point they couldn't be used anymore. The cardboard on this is not tightly compacted, so it falls apart very easily. Two of my foster cats love round beds, so I knew they would love this. They have multiple scratchers, including corrugated cardboards ones, that they have had for 6+ months and are still going strong. I've had this for 10 days and it's completely ripped apart. It also made the biggest mess (all corrugated cardboard scratchers make a mess, but this one was ridiculous).I only gave it 2 stars because they do love sleeping on it. If you have a cat that will just sleep on it, than it would be fine. All my cats have been trained from the time they were kittens to use these for scratching (I rescue and foster kittens and cats until they find homes, so I need products that last).It was not worth $16.
