Review on TSLA Lightweight Athletic Barefoot Minimalist Men's Shoes for Athletic by Matthew Richards

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Strange style. Pink tint to black. Bad glue.

I used them for powerlifting. I thought the rubber around the toe might offer a little more protection than other minimalist shoe options from things like crushed toes. First things first: I ordered the black/orange version and don't know if there was a tint. Problem, but my shoes have a distinct red cast, especially in direct light. It's okay - I'm comfortable in my manhood, but my friends have been teasing me. Comfort: They are comfortable, but it would be more comfortable if I chose a size 11 instead of my usual size 10.5, which sometimes puts a strange pressure on the toes of both children's feet with this model. Strange. Durability: They held up well, but not great. I wear them to workout 2-3 times a week and sometimes I linger during the day and wear them for hours afterwards. They definitely held up better than cheap Walmart junk, but they have problems with glue. I've had to reinforce the shoe with Shoe Goo a few times, but that very last hole is right where the toecap meets the rubber at the top of the forefoot, and I'm not sure the stickiness of the shoe will help this time. A little disappointed in that. I'm glad I bought it, but I'll probably buy a different brand next time if the shoe slime can't handle the last hole.

Pros
  • Offers excellent traction on different terrains
Cons
  • Some buyers may not like the pixelated camouflage design.
