Review on Elevate Your Comfort with the Microsoft 💻 Sculpt Ergonomic Wireless Desktop Keyboard and Mouse L5V-00001 by Ninh Quang Truong ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

A good product at a good price, I advise you to try it.

In general, a good thing, although not without complaints (microsoft, well, nothing is done without half measures). For its price, it’s generally fire, I would change 4000 for it, it was painfully bulky, this one is generally miniature after 4000. Well, in general, the market for ergonomic keyboards is unfairly scarce, and this set has a minimum of competition on it (moreover, the previous models are in competition).

Pros
  • 1. Ergonomics and size. Here it’s obvious - out of the 4000 models, they simply threw out unnecessary clutter and left a block of what was needed, very convenient. The stand position is perfect. 2. Lack of wires. Colleagues pretending to be oldfags unanimously called this a minus and continue to swear quietly, getting tangled in the wires, those who use the shortcomings did not notice (in the work, of course, for pro gaming, some may be felt, but we understand that this is primarily a topic for hard workers) 3. The rendered numpad is ingenious, for those who do not need it, you can simply throw it on the table and get it when you need it. 4. Separated space. I don’t even remember how much I cursed from the gap on the 4000 model, there is no such problem here, everything is perfectly pressed 5. In general, the keys are very quiet 6. You get used to the mouse in a day and you don’t get used to it anymore, it’s very functional (you can’t tell by the look, the functionality of the wheel without reading the guides is found over time). It is heavy and lies in the hand like a glove. 7. Do not listen to those who say that it is for seasoned uncles and two-fingers have nothing to catch on it - learn ten-finger blind input in the worst case in a couple of weeks.
Cons
  • 1. Batteries. I would prefer a USB connector in each unit to charge them once every half a year, and not change the batteries once in the same half a year, at least not environmentally friendly and uneconomical. Well, at least in the kit there were already inserted (not discharged, with plugs) 2. Materials. The pillow under the palms is easily soiled and sometimes makes you sweat, the soft areas of the mouse also collect everything on themselves, gloss on top - well, you understand, either wipe it daily or score on aesthetics. 3. Zero protection against anything, shedding has not yet spilled anything on her, but most likely she will not survive even a spit. 4. Fn lever is still a perversion, very incomprehensible and inconvenient 5. The absence of any indication at all, neither for the operation of the locks nor for the operation of the equipment itself, the included caps should be guessed purely experimentally, the battery discharge is also upon discharge 6. Scroll from 4000 is not enough now
