It works for the Surefire G2
Very happy so far. I put this in an old surefire g2 I had discarded in a junk drawer and combined it with a very much budget night vision monocular i received as a gift that was never good for much of anything due to a weak illuminator. I am now able to ID animals out to 100 yards with this combination. This is on par with some good white light LED drop-in conversions i have tried in the G2.There is a dim red glow visible to the naked eye when the light is on.It is obviously not a professional set up but for the price I am extremely happy.
