Review on 📸 Lenovo 360 VoIP Camera Speaker by Robert Pearson

Let me start with an overall review. I gave 3 stars because the seller did exactly what we agreed. I gave him money, he gave me products. If I only rated the camera it would be 1 star. The concept is great, being able to see multiple people when video conferencing is a good idea. The hardware looks well put together and gives the impression of a quality product, and then it goes downhill. First I tried to access the camera via the windows camera function (as an IT pro I do this regularly), every attempt ended with windows crashing or locking up. After 5 attempts to open the camera, I decided to see what would happen with Teams (my logic was that they mention it works with Teams but don't mention if it works with the camera app or not). It seems to have worked, my computer didn't freeze and I was able to see the image! Now I see the next release, the quality was straight out of the 1990s. The image was distorted (I understand it's a 360° camera so I figured I could live with that), grainy, blurry and just generally not good. That was very disappointing, especially as we live in an era where you can carry around a 108MP camera on your phone.
