It may be more useful than what the manufacturer says.

This machine is pretty solid apart from the plastic cover on the bottom. It came in the box unassembled and won't last due to a design flaw. I had to use the product quickly otherwise I could return it. It doesn't matter as the plate is held in place by a small piece of tape. According to the manufacturer, there are two ways to align the paper in the lower feed slot. One lane is for a regular 11 inch sheet and the wider lane is for larger covers. What if you want to go smaller? To make any other size paper, you can use the "oversized" rail and simply roll the punch mechanism around the center of the sheet. Then turn the sheet over, align it on the same track and you'll get a professional looking edge (no partially punched holes at the top and/or bottom of the page. This ONLY WORKS if your pages are exactly 10, 9, 8, etc . inches long. Fractional sizes won't come out well. They will only punch six pages at a time if it's typical printer paper. I use card stock and three pages is the max. I used this type of machine twelve years ago They hold up well, but you think there will be some innovations.

Pros
  • Durable Test Results
Cons
  • Not sure
