Review on ๐Ÿ“ก Vansky Outdoor Amplified TV Antenna: 150 Mile Range, 360ยฐ Rotation, HD UHF/VHF Channels - Perfect for 2 TVs! by Dwayne Quarles

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Works straight away

Very easy assembly. Very easy to connect to the TV. It's mounted on a J-shaped pole about 25 feet off the ground. We had a digital FCC station card and pointed the antenna in that direction when we installed it. We have a TV that scans for channels. It is locked at 56 stations. The local PBS station was 5 bars easier. Most stations are 86 miles away and that pulls 2 to 3 bars. We tried a rotator and it rotates the antenna slightly and we were able to fine tune the signal. More distant stations are marginal. To be fair if I had bothered to put the antenna higher in the air I could probably pick up the signals. The antenna just weathered a big storm and seems fine. I have no idea how it will work over time. We were curious to see how this would compare to cable television. The picture quality is the same, so we were satisfied. This antenna suited us, was inexpensive and easy to use. And we were impressed that we get very good results just sitting a foot above our roof.

Pros
  • Handy item
Cons
  • Some bugs
