I was so excited to get this carry-on suitcase specifically because it was the first hard-sided case I had seen that had a front compartment for a laptop. My husband frequently travels with his laptop and was looking for a carry-on that would make it easy for him to store and remove it quickly. His laptop is not over-sized--in fact, it's on the small side.Unfortunately, the front compartment on this case would not accommodate my husband's laptop. He could get it in, but had to force it a little and it just felt like something was going to get broken. Because of the front compartment, you DO lose some interior space for packing so this case would really only be good for very short trips or one-day business trips.
