Review on Logitech G305 Lightspeed: The Ultimate Wireless Gaming Mouse by Felicja Szymanska (F ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

What you need, a cool purchase, I advise you.

Unfortuitously, I was unable to locate a replacement for the old m705 at a price that was within my budget. According to the reviews, the functionality of the new version of Logitech was also diminished (double clicks and one button were removed). In addition to that, I was unhappy with her approval at that point. The Logitech software that was previously compatible with it became corrupted and would not start. In order to prevent the production of dongles, the K800 checked out other goods made by the same firm whenever it was near a keyboard. However, during the course of five years, there was a transfer to another incompatible protocol as well as a decline in the ergonomics and material quality of the company's products. The price has been pushed to an impossible level for devices that are even remotely decent. It is important to point out that other manufacturers have followed the same path in order to be fair. As a result, I had no choice but to concede defeat and go with this device in the vain expectation that my job with the keyboard would not be negatively affected. Because of this, the mouse can now be used. I don't particularly enjoy the way it rests in my hand, but I can live with it. You can set up a total of four fixed DPIs in the program, and each of those DPIs' values will be stored in the mouse itself, allowing you to switch between them without the need for additional software. This was one of the deciding factors for me when it came to choose her.

Pros
  • It was convenient to be able to quickly alter the DPI by pressing a button on the mouse. There are four different fixed values that can be configured through the application. When set to do mostly office work and only sometimes play games, it can function for an impressively long time on a single battery charge.
Cons
  • The standard of the materials is ridiculously low. My experience with the mouse has been that it is quite light, without bringing the point of gravity closer to the surface. The buttons have a very loud and grating action. The wheel is made out of plastic and not rubber. Absence of backwards compatibility between the receiver protocol and that of Logitech Unifying.
