Review on Gregory Mountain Products Hydration NIGHTSHADE by Robert Ducki

I don't understand why this backpack has such a big hip belt! In addition, it is compatible with a short torso. The backpack itself is very comfortable and beautiful, but the weight inside hurts my shoulders and back from not being able to tighten the waist belt tight enough to allow for weight distribution. I'm 5'3", 125 lbs, very average, athletic build and 15" torso. The backpack straps are very comfortable, but the waist strap is at least 2 inches larger and I can comfortably fit a whole fist between the strap and my body. !The backpack itself seems to be well built. I wish there was another large organizational pocket or if the front one was deeper. As it is, there's a small front and a small inside, but both are too small to hold more than one phone/wallet/keys. The hip belt pockets are good but also small (handy for holding an iPhone). No matter the size of the backpack, it will not fit smaller sizes.
