Review on Handy Hands Y9 Tatting Needle by Dawn Fischer

Revainrating 5 out of 5

This is exactly what needles for weaving yarn should be.

Tries to learn how to crochet and knit. Unfortunately it didn't work out very well, but I already knew tatting and had a fair amount of yarn. I decided to try yarn size tatting needles and I'm glad I did. The eyelets are easy to thread and the needles are strong enough to easily hold a variety of yarn weights. Of course, they also have a downside. They are no longer than the tatting needles I use for 10 and 20 gauge, so the needles don't hold as many stitches as I would like. However, if the needles were longer, would they be difficult to use at all, so I can. I don't see it as a disadvantage.

Pros
  • Includes size 0, 1 and 2 tatting needles included in the booklet, tatting needle storage case and needle threader.
Cons
  • Some mistakes
