Review on 🎧 Purple Sony MDR-EX15AP In-Ear Headphones by Ada Kowalczyk ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

A normal product, however, does not fully match the description.

Before the breakdown, they only operated gently for one year and four months. accompanied with a 12-month warranty. Headphones were almost exclusively utilized at home at this time. The wires were straight and did not bend. The right earpiece quit working at the conclusion of this time. Causes: 1. A wire that has broken or fractured near the case's entrance or inside the case as a result of improperly fastened wires at the case's entrance and inadequate wire fastening inside the case (the wire moves freely "back and forth", it can be easily pulled out and pushed inside). 2) Poorly made cables. Based on personal experience with other, more costly Sony headphones and less expensive non-name brands, the sound quality is roughly rated at a 4 out of 10. The sound quality is OK to me in theory. I wore headphones to watch movies, listen to audio books, play games, and listen to music on a PC with an integrated sound card, a phone, and a typical, non-audiophile player. A microphone is included with this model, the MDR-EX15AP. No microphone on the MDR-EX15LP model. There is much confusion. No comments were made, and the microphone did not check. Sound - 4 in total. Continuity - 2 Construction quality: 3.5 Noise reduction: 4 The selling price is excessively high in many stores. In general, some of the prices listed in the reviews are outrageous. In my opinion, the cost of these headphones shouldn't be more than $650. This is because, as of May 25, 2022, the central bank's rate of exchange for USD is 61.6. I noticed that some reviews mentioned the issue with the volume deterioration. The degradation of the sound volume in one of the headphones I used while it was operational was typically brought on by clogging of the porous filter at the output of the headphones' sound channels (they are attached to the "rubber" ear pads). When completely clogged and unable to be washed, these filters can be gently pierced with a thin needle. Alternatively, they can be washed with alcohol or vodka. That will increase the loudness again. Many earplugs have this issue. The volume of the headphone capsules themselves often does not diminish over time. in particular after a few months.

Pros
  • One) Reasonable soundproofing (not perfect, but pretty good, there was something to compare, tested in the subway). 2. Cases for comfortable headphones. Wear a winter hat and lay with your head on a cushion as long as your ears don't protrude.) L-shaped plug, number 3. 4) Comfortable ear cushions (3 pairs included).
Cons
  • 1) Limited useful life. The main negative aspect is this. 2) Wires are obviously "tan" in the cold. 3. an inflated retail price (taking into account the real service life).
