Stop torturing your expensive lights!.

Okay, so I own several Fotodiox Softboxes and they are excellent! but they are HEAVY! Here is the solution to STOP torturing your expensive lights with trying to hold these (and similar) heavy bad-boy softboxes. Do what I did for all my large Fotodiox softboxes on my Einsteins and order the "Interfit Softbox Yoke". It is a heavy-duty stand mounted bracket that holds the softbox, which weighs the most, not the light, and then your light just has to hold it's own weight. I did this for my Einsteins to hold my Fotodiox rectangle and octo-boxes. The speed-ring that comes with the bracket is for Bowens S-Mount but because the mount comes with the complete aluminum adapter and speed ring for holding your rods, just remove the speed ring you need from your existing softbox and use it instead (since you wont need it anyway on the box now). These brackets are heavy duty and are available directly out of Interfit's warehouse in Atlanta and I had them in 2 days. Plus, they're only $50. Call Interfit and ask for Darrell and he'll hook you up. Checkout the photo of one of my Einstein's mounted to the bracket that's holding up the giant octo. here's the link for the mount. [.]

Pros
  • Despite its professional quality, this softbox is reasonably priced and won't break the bank
Cons
