At home I use it as a docking station, keyboard, mouse, and monitor are attached to it. It also has power delivery that drives my MacBook Pro so I don't have to pull my power supply from the bag. I bought a second one so I can setup a recording on the go. I can plug in my audio interface, camera, and even mixing board and be ready to go in minutes.The MacBook Pro can't take advantage of the dual hdmi outputs but I do have a built-in HDMI out and can power two monitors (an ultrawide and a 4K) between the two of them. It's definitely earned it's spot on my desk
