Review on Precision Measurement with Crescent Lufkin 1-3/16 x 25' Command Control Series Black Clad Tape Measure - L1025CB by Terence Dardant

It's a pretty good tape measure but not fatmax

It's a tape measure, they're all about the same, most of the functions on the tape measure are tricks but I think this one was designed pretty well. The blade is very easy to read and the finger drag is a great addition due to its natural placement. The lock feels like it will last a long time and not wear out anytime soon. In terms of blade stiffness, however, this is not the limit. The superior result is quite wide, but nowhere near as stable as my ten year old Fatmax. The 360° hook at the end seems to me quite suitable for 90° sides and a little better upside down. They only really resort to straight cuts. Anything that has a radius or something, they don't grab well, especially if the object is vertical and the tape is horizontal. This isn't a real hit to the product as most bands haven't changed hooks in decades. I think the best thing about this band is the easy to read blade. Still a recent purchase but I feel like I'd always prefer a Fatmax for just a few bucks more but still a good backup tape for a junk drawer or glove box.

Cons
