Review on RAX Men'S Lightweight Backpacking Hiking Boots by Phillip Brown

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Very comfortable, not very durable.

These boots are very comfortable. They did not require any breaking in, no rubbing, no hot spots, they absorb impact. These boots have great grip on gravel, rocks, and sand, in both wet and dry conditions. They help keep your feet dry. They are not warm and are actually very good to run in. They have decent ankle support, though they do tend to squeeze a bit on the sides of the ankles. Now the reason I only gave these boots three stars is because they wear out rather quickly. Mind you I wear them for work which includes quite a bit of running on every terrain imaginable, I have had to use super glue to fix and hold nearly every part of these boots. If you get these, I recomend using them solely for hiking off road, and maybe not use them as ankle supportive running shoes like I did.

Pros
  • Highly affordable compared to other hiking boots on the market
Cons
  • Minimal sole grip
