This shelf is just what I needed to get a few items off my desk to keep clutter to an absolute minimum because I can’t stand a cluttered desk. It might not be super clear in the picture I attached, but this easily holds a full size 3 ring binder and the 12.9 inch iPad Pro and the Bluetooth keyboard as well as a ruler that I use for work. Those items are easy to pull out when I need them for work and just as easy to stow when I’m not using them. The wire basket easily allows for the running of charging cables through it from whatever direction is necessary. I like that it’s deep enough to hold all my stuff, but not so deep that it gets in the way of my legs. There’s plenty of space between my legs and the bottom of the basket to the point where I can even bounce my knee, if I get the urge to do so.This is a great solution for a plain tabletop style desk like the one I have shown in the picture. While I love the minimal design of the desk and the fact that it goes up and down, it allows for absolutely no storage without the handy modification I made by adding this shelf.The bottom of my desk is kind of slick and I wasn’t sure that the adhesive strips would work, so I went ahead and drilled the bottom of the desk and attached the shelf with screws. Even discounting the fact that I own a construction company, it was no trouble at all and I think anyone even the least bit handy can do it.IMPORTANT- When you’re pre-drilling holes for use of the screws, make sure to mark your drill bit, so you know how deep to drilling you don’t drill clean through all the way to the top of your desk.Love it and highly recommend it.
