Review on Seville Classics UltraHD 12-Drawer Lockable Rolling Cabinet Workbench, 72" X 20" X 37.5", Granite Gray by David Diaz

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Portable and flexible, this workbench serves many uses and abuses.

I have owned this rolling workbench for 5 years now (got it at Sam's Club) along with the smaller rolling cabinet that easily fits under their standard workbench. I also bought the tall storage cabinet. The assembly is not all that easy as reaching things alone can be a challenge, but once assembled, this workbench has become my "go to" work station. The drawers are all on smooth slides. The center cabinet is large enough to hold several power tools, like routers, drills, sanders, etc. Each end of the bench has 1/4" holes in the standard configuration that you can use them like pegboard and mount brackets. I have hand saws and levels hanging there. Two of the casters are fixed and the other two swivel. The bench is substantially heavy, so rolling it, while possible, require a bit of effort. The butcher-block maple top is over an inch thick and has endured five years of beatings, paintings, sandings, and other sawdusty abuse that I throw its way. This was easily one of the better purchases that I've made to my shop. I plan on building a custom house next year with a two-car sized shop. I may have to buy another one of these because of its great utility and portable use.

Pros
  • Building Supplies
Cons
  • The drawers may rust over time
