Review on SteelSeries Rival 310 gaming mouse, black by Wiktor Niekrasz ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

The right product for me, the price suited me.

Sensor sensitivity values can be set to 2 in one profile. It may not be enough, but it's for everyone. At first, the wire that seemed "wretched" - after several minutes of trial and error, with the participation of a wire holder (very desirable for this mouse) - proved to be the best and most flexible, in every sense! The mouse, although not heavy, and even on a metal carpet (from which it can be blown off) - but the softness (and simultaneous "stability") of its cord, coupled with the verified length of its "working part" - turn manipulations on the rug into a real pleasure ! But everything "breaks" the shape of the "nose". Despite the considerable dimensions, the mouse is conveniently located in the palm of even quite medium sizes, with short fingers; and even initially, seemingly inaccessible front side button becomes quite accessible (accustoming time - minutes), however: the above-mentioned constructive (strangeness? ), with an immensely narrowed (or rather, extremely slightly expanded) top of the bow is essential, and unequivocally, it reduces the number of potential (not swearing) users - for a very banal reason: for many, the fingers will simply "fly" from these buttons and (or) hit, more often, on the protruding sidewalls than on the buttons themselves. This mouse is probably well suited for those who have narrow, elongated palms and fingers (similar to the palms of the boy promoting this product). But for owners of not so pronounced palms, I strongly recommend that you take this mouse in your hands and try it out before buying. "So that it would not be excruciatingly painful" afterwards. It is very "remarkable, in this sense, that the mouse with the logo of the team of players who are constantly testing SS mice (according to the Manufacturer's statements) - although the nose is not twice as wide - is, nevertheless, noticeably wider (especially button 1), and has a Fundamentally A different arrangement of the sides. It should have been left that way, at least. If not for the bow, I would say that this mouse is one of the best, for most. And so - at whom as fingers will lay down. Or they won't lie down.

Pros
  • 1. Impeccable build quality and the same quality of the "stuffing". 2. Glide - remarkably smooth and easy. 3. The main keys have an almost flat profile - it's easy to press on them, and you don't have to "turn your fingers" at the same time. 4. Competent, clear "clicks" of all, without exception, buttons, with good tactile information content. (However, the wheel, in my opinion, in comparison with the other buttons, is not expressed enough, both when rotating and when pressed - but here, I think, it's a matter of habit and preferences). 5. Soundly made software, convenient, without "glitches"; with normal 2022 localization. 6. Expensive, comfortable and pleasant to the touch, body and support materials. 7. (Well, at least someone! ) - normally rounded, "rolled", lower edge - moreover, along its entire length; from below / behind it is very important, on a hard carpet. (But read about the supports, in the "disadvantages").
Cons
  • 1. Inexplicably narrow nose of the mouse, with the main 2 keys; and even with protruding sides, from the sides of these keys - which completely violates the (almost ideal) shapes and proportions of the mouse, that's "tin" ! 2. Surprisingly - the lack of the ability to adjust significant options in the sensor and backlight settings: separation height, surface type, brightness. 3. The rear supports should be larger, and they are too far from the edge (especially from the side): when raised, the mouse periodically "squeezes the plastic body" on a hard carpet.
