There is nothing wrong with a monitor for business use, let alone gaming. It has a joystick on the back typical of Samsung monitors and TVs, narrow bezels and images are bright and crisp. I connected two monitors to the port replicator with a DisplayPort cable and everything worked fine. The VESA mount option isn't optimal, but I was able to use a workaround that will likely void the warranty. The problem is that Samsung has molded two raised tabs just below the bottom 100x100mm mounting screws. I don't know what the purpose of these tabs is, but it may interfere with mounting these displays on the desktop mount you are using. In my case I mounted them to Ergotron LX mounts and the VESA mounting plate does not fit between the top and bottom tabs with screw holes aligned. I had a choice: drill new holes in the extra-thick Ergotron VESA mounting plate, or void the warranty and use a utility knife to cut the plastic from the back of the monitor. I chose the latter and I hope this doesn't void the warranty. After trimming the excess, the bracket will fit. Finally, the screws removed from the VESA mounting holes were too short, I replaced them with screws at least twice the original length.
