Review on Sirui L-10 Aluminium Tilt πŸ“· Head with Quick Release Plate for Monopods by Cynthia Broederdorf

Works well even with very heavy lenses and cameras - great value

For $100 you get a solid monohead that can handle even a very heavy camera and lens combo (I have an 8- pound lens used with a 3 pound camera ) . The voltage adjustment works well and it's easy to get the value you want for the lens and camera. This requires a standard Arca-Swiss mounting plate or lens stem. There is a pin that retracts fully and does not interfere with the mounting plate in any way. The kit includes a plate that allows you to mount a camera with a lightweight lens on your head. On a DSLR or mirrorless camera with a 100mm or shorter lens, it is normal for the camera not to rotate on the rubber friction pads. I don't see the value of this record but it really is a giveaway for the price of a Sirui monopod head. The only downside is the lack of a quick-release toggle clip, but to get one you'll have to shell out $280 for the Really Right Stuff version. this head.
