I purchased a handful of Hisdern ties and have been using them for almost four months. These ties feel high-quality and have held up incredibly. They look very nice and I have received many compliments for them. The colours are vivid and true to the pictures. The only complaint I have is that two of them (I have gotten five) the thread holding the back loop has come loose. I won't knock off a star for this however, as I have name brand ties with the same issue, and it's an easy repair for anyone with basic sewing skills. Although I haven't contacted them personally, it appears that their customer support is genuinely passionate and they are constantly trying to improve. Don't be fooled, however. Although many of their ties are genuine, 100% silk, these ones are not. They don't try to hide this, they are made with PET (Recycled plastic). These do not have a plastic look or feel though. They feel smooth and silky and look silky, although they have a slight sparkly-reflective sheen. This material hasn't shown any signs of wear in my nearly four months of frequent wear, but I can't personally vouch for its longevity. Regardless, Hisdern ties are good quality and worth their cost many times over.
