Due to the fact that my daughter now wears braces, we decided to purchase an irrigator for our entire household. The first six months we used it very frequently, but these days we don't use it very often at all. I decided to do this experiment on myself by first brushing my teeth with a toothbrush, then cleaning my teeth with an irrigator, and then checking my teeth with dental floss. I took precautions to ensure that the irrigator would not thoroughly clean the interdental spaces between the teeth. Perhaps it's because of the way my teeth fit together. I came to the realization that dental floss is the best solution in the event that there are neither braces nor bridges present.
