Review on Amazfit T-Rex - Rugged Smartwatch in Army Green: Unleash Your Inner Adventurer! by Agata Kaszyska (Lubi ᠌

Worst product for the money, wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Great watch! If not for a couple of "BUT". The first and decisive for me personally: the constant loss of GPS dj signal while running. And it would be okay if this happened due to a bad signal, the environment or weather conditions. No. Just while running, the watch signals the loss of satellite signal. In an open field. In the same places. And if you run in the same place in the opposite direction - everything is fine! Some sort of magic. Checked a dozen times. It does not affect the accuracy of the final values, even the track is drawn correctly. But the constant buzzing of the clock about the failure of the signal directly puts pressure on the psyche. :) Maybe this will not matter to someone, but for me it became a decisive factor that I got rid of them. Further. They recently rebranded. From Amazfit, the application was renamed to Zepp. And off we go . Then incoming calls ceased to be displayed. Released an ate. The names of the contacts are no longer displayed (instead of the name of the phone number). A lot of people (especially on xiaomi smartphones) stopped receiving notifications from applications like whatsapp, vk, viber. ates are released several times a week, but somehow everything is crooked . And one more thing: cutting down on functions when new versions of the application are released. Previously, for example, there was a number of coups in a dream, a signal when the connection with the smartphone was lost. Now all these functions can be obtained only by installing a third-party assembly of the application manually. In general, mixed hours. And for such a price, I wanted some kind of stability. But she is not.

Pros
  • Appearance (for me personally). Autonomy. Screen. performance.
Cons
  • Software problems. Problems with the GPS signal.
