This lock gets a five star rating if the instructions are correct. I received this block today and it only took 2 minutes to change the number and get it up and running. As one of the previous reviewers mentioned, the instruction for changing the combination number is wrong: if you use a coin to turn the bezel, it turns clockwise instead of counterclockwise as the manual says, and the angle of rotation is 45 degrees instead. 90 degrees as indicated in the instructions. Turning the bezel is pretty easy, and when it snaps into place, you'll feel a slight click inside the lock. Some reviewers complain that they couldn't get the lock to work after an hour and a half, hence giving this lock one star. If you can't get the lock to work, that's not the lock's problem, it's your own problem! And it's unfair to give a star to such a magnificent castle. Period.
