Good quality product, I rate this purchase excellent.

The value for the money is excellent. It's a great image for filming webinars if you're a teacher or business coach, as well as for general use around the house and in casual conversation. In most cases, a professional-quality photograph just requires adequate lighting.

Pros

The picture and its auto-correction (illuminance, color, alignment of lights and shadows), customization options (contrast, color, image magnification, face tracking, photography, and video recording), streamlined integration with Skype and connection to YouTube (Hangouts, video recording - failure when saving it to YouTube, well, okay, Hangouts will help), and so on. Simple and fast set up. The DVD also contained the necessary drivers.

Cons

Video comments suggest a more vibrant color palette would have been preferable, however this is likely due to lighting issues. Or, more precisely, its lack. A clumsy move while altering an image by hand; the contrast "jumps" to maximum brightness, or the colors become toxic with only a moderate adjustment to the saturation. Could be I'm picking at nits. Never assume a low-cost camera can provide professional-looking results.
